University of Winnipeg Wesmen
Challenge:
To refresh and update the visual identity for Wesmen Athletic, the University of Winnipeg's Varsity athletic teams.
Context:
In 1966, the University of Winnipeg held a contest among its student to name the team. The chosen name, Wesmen, was the combination of the two founding colleges, Wesley and Manitoba Colleges, that later formed the University of Winnipeg.
Result:
Using the Wesmen colours, we redesigned the team logo to represent the teams' spirit and dynamism.
